About ICNGCS 2021

The advancements in computing have led to the development of intelligent systems that are data-driven, sense-making and insight-extraction. These systems emulate the human cognitive process and could respond to the fast-changing data and conditions in real-time. The Internet of Things to connect smart devices, that interact each other to ensure context aware autonomous intelligent reponse. The structured and unstructured data from these devices if analysed can provide personalised insights at the right time in the right context and with evidence. The technology evolutions in different domains necessitate a detailed discussion on the research opportunities in these fields.


PSG Institute Of Technology and Applied Research

PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research established in the year 2014, as the 30th Institution under the umbrella of PSG Sons’ and charities, is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. PSG iTech has a great vision to achieve academic excellence and to nurture the future engineers with required skills to face the global challenges. This institute offers five Under Graduate courses Civil, CSE, ECE, EEE and Mechanical Engineering. The institute has excellent infrastructure facilities, well-equipped laboratories with state-of-art equipments and Centers of Excellence (CoE) for intensive training, research and consultancy activities. The institute has signed MoU with various research organizations and industries across the globe to promote industry interaction and to mould the students industry ready. The Institute envisions at producing engineers with strong interpersonal skills and societal consciousness.




Computer Science and Engineering Department

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has a vision of producing the technocrats with core-technical competency. To keep abreast with the latest technological developments like SMAC technologies (Social network analysis, Mobile computing, Analytics and Cloud computing) the students are trained in the latest hardware and software technologies. Their analytical, computational thinking, problem solving skills of the students are kindled by the well-qualified dedicated faculty members of the department. The salient features of the department include placements in leading IT and ITES companies, regular invited lectures and workshops on advanced topics and inclusion of value-added courses to supplement their curriculum.
